About Us
Daniel started DW Fencing & Rural services with his partner Troye in 2020 when they returned to the Manawatu after spending 7 years on the east coast of the North Island. They settled in Feilding, and have been growing their business since.
Daniel graduated from Otiwhiti station Farm Cadetship in 2013 where he developed and fostered an interest in fencing. “I’d always been practically inclined and really enjoyed working outside with my hands”.
Since then he has spent many years fencing on various sheep and beef stations on the east coast of New Zealand from Gisborne to the Wairarapa. “When it came time to return home to the Manawatu we knew that the next step was to start our own business”. The time spent farming really helped Daniel to have a livestock focused approach to his work, good stock flow is really important.
When he’s not fencing you can find Daniel at the beach with his partner and their 5 dogs. You’ll often find Daniel’s right hand man Oscar with him at work.
